Candescent, a leading independent digital banking technology provider, today announced the opening of its new office in Bangalore, India, to support ongoing talent investment and accelerate product delivery. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place today to celebrate the milestone.

The new office, located in International Tech Park and double the size of the company’s previous facility, will serve as a regional innovation hub for more than 200 Candescent team members. This team has been instrumental in developing Candescent’s next generation user experience, a transformation that has delivered an elegant, modern design backed by flexible, extensible architecture and data-driven insights that allow banks and credit unions to deeply customize the digital banking experience and seamlessly integrate third-party fintech partners.

“Our dynamic, dedicated team in Bangalore has been critical in bringing the development of our next generation user experience to life, which goes far beyond aesthetics. This new foundation enables us to better support financial institutions in their efforts to differentiate, grow and future-proof their organizations,” explained Gareth Gaston, Chief Product Officer, Candescent. “I look forward to adding even more skillsets to the Bangalore team, including designers, product managers and agilists. These roles, when combined with engineers, will create empowered teams that own products end-to-end, further unlocking our employees’ tremendous talent.”

Candescent plans to continue to hire in the area going forward across a range of roles, including those related to product, design, agile and engineering. In addition to the Bangalore office, Candescent is opening two new offices in New York this spring for its corporate and finance teams. Candescent also has offices in Hyderabad and Mumbai, India.

“Bangalore produces some of the strongest technology talent in India, and we are excited to enhance our presence in this vibrant ecosystem,” said Anshuman Vatsyayan, Center Head for Candescent’s Bangalore office. “We are confident this space will foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that enables our team to innovate with even more speed and efficiency as we continue to grow.”

“Innovation is the lifeblood of our organization, which is why we continue to invest in top technology talent across the globe,” said Brendan Tansill, CEO of Candescent. “Our new home in the heart of Bangalore will provide a welcoming environment for our team and allow for accelerated talent recruitment, facilitating our commitment to take the industry’s leading digital banking platform to the next level and enable banks and credit unions to accelerate their user engagement, growth and community impact.”
