Hero MotoCorp (NSE:HEROMOTOCO), the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, announced its quarterly and half-year financial results for the period ended 30 September 2025. The company reported its highest-ever revenue and profit after tax for both Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26, supported by an increase in demand across key vehicle segments and continued progress in its electric mobility and international markets.
Record Revenue and Profit Performance
For Q2 FY26, Hero MotoCorp posted revenue from operations of ₹12,126 crore, compared to ₹10,463 crore in the same period last year, marking a 16% increase. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) for the quarter amounted to ₹1,823 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 15%. Profit after tax for the quarter stood at ₹1,393 crore, also a 16% rise over the previous year.
The company sold 16.91 lakh motorcycles and scooters during the quarter, up from 15.20 lakh units in Q2 FY25.
For H1 FY26, Hero MotoCorp recorded revenue of ₹21,705 crore, compared to ₹20,607 crore in the previous year’s first half. EBITDA for the six-month period was ₹3,205 crore, and PAT stood at ₹2,519 crore, marking an 8% increase. Half-year sales totalled 30.58 lakh units.
The consolidated revenue and PAT for Q2 FY26 were ₹12,218 crore and ₹1,321 crore, respectively, while for H1 FY26 they stood at ₹21,946 crore and ₹3,027 crore.
Market Share Gains and Festive Season Momentum
During the festive season from 23 August to 12 November 2025, the company recorded a growth of 16.2% in ICE vehicle registrations, ahead of industry growth of 14.7%, resulting in a 40-basis-point market share improvement. The performance was supported by higher offtake in the entry-level, deluxe, and scooter categories.
Hero MotoCorp refreshed its product portfolio across the 100cc–125cc segments with new launches including the HF Deluxe Pro, Glamour X, Destini 125, Destini 110, Xoom 160, and Xpulse 210.
Acceleration in Electric Mobility
VIDA, the company’s electric mobility business, continued its upward momentum. The brand achieved its highest-ever EV market share of 11.7% during the quarter, supported by the VIDA VX2 EVOOTER with removable battery and Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) options.
At EICMA 2025 in Milan, Hero MotoCorp introduced new electric mobility concepts under the VIDA NOVUS portfolio and unveiled the VIDA DIRT.E off-road electric motorcycle series. The company also announced the launch of the VIDA VX2 in Europe.
Growth in Global Markets
Hero MotoCorp’s global operations recorded dispatch growth of 77% during the quarter, driven by performance in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Colombia. This represented three times the growth observed at the industry level.
Outlook
Hero MotoCorp enters the second half of FY26 with continued focus across its ICE, EV, and global portfolios. With new product introductions and expanding international presence, the company continues to advance its multi-segment growth strategy for the remainder of the fiscal year.
